Assets: Overview

Assets are the resources owned by companies which can be hardware (temperature loggers, fridges, laptops), software (Excel) and it belongs to the Domain and/or Entity. The asset management feature helps users to track and monitor assets. Asset features will be available only after enabling Asset management service under Configuration > Asset. The Asset module comes under master data setup and contains listing, creation/edit options and bulk upload options. Assets created in the domain, will be visible to that domain and all its parent domains. Assets can be of two types, and their properties vary based on the type:

  • monitoring assets (eg. ILRs, deep freezers)
  • monitored assets (eg. temperature loggers)
