Asset alarm configuration: Overview


The different alarm related configurations that can be configured are:

  • Power outage alarm: Duration of power outage after which there is considered to be a power outage alarmĀ 
  • Low battery alarm: Percentage of low battery after which a monitoring asset is considered in a low battery alarm status
  • High alarm configuration: The high temperature threshold and minutes after which an asset should be considered a high alarm
  • Low alarm configuration: The low temperature threshold and minutes after which an asset should be considered a low alarm
  • High warning configuration: The high temperature threshold and minutes after which an asset should be considered a high warning
  • Low warning configuration: The low temperature threshold and minutes after which an asset should be considered a low warning
  • Alarm frequency duration (in minutes): Number of minutes between alarm notifications to be sent
  • Alarm frequency counts (Number of times): Maximum number of times that the same alarm notification can be sent


Navigate to the Assets configuration page


  1. Click on the Configuration tab in the main menu
  2. Select the Assets sub-tab from the drop-down list
  3. View the list of asset alarm related configurations


Configure asset alarm details

  1. Type the minutes for power outage alarm duration & percentage of low battery alarm threshold
  2. Type the temperature & duration threshold for:
    • High AlarmĀ configuration &
    • Low Alarm configuration
  3. Type the temperature & duration threshold for:
    • High Warning configuration &
    • Low Warning configuration
  4. Type the alarm frequency in terms of duration & number of times
  5. Click on Save button at the end of the page to finalise the changes
  6. View the confirmation that the configuration has been updated successfully
