Assets: Overview

The Assets page provides the status of all the monitoring and monitored assets in the current domain and sub-domains. This page can be used to monitor the condition of all assets in a single view and has customised views based on the type of assets being displayed i.e., different fields are displayed for monitoring and monitored assets.

  • Monitoring asset: Monitoring asset refers to an asset that continuously captures key information of other assets through single or multiple sensors. Monitoring assets which allow remote monitoring are considered remote monitoring assets. Temperature logger is an example of monitoring asset.
  • Monitored asset: Monitored asset refers to an asset that is being monitored using another asset. For example, an ILR is monitored by a temperature logger.
