Events: Overview

An abnormal stock event is when materials reach the following stock levels:

  • Zero stock: no stock in the facility
  • Less than minimum stock (predetermined value): stock has fallen below the level at which it is supposed to be maintained
  • More than maximum stock (predetermined value): there is more stock than the level at which it is supposed to be maintained

Navigate to the Abnormal Stock page

  1. Click on the Inventory tab in the main menu
  2. Select the Abnormal Stock tab from the drop-down list





View zero stock

  1. By default, an inventory list of all items with zero stock level will be displayed
  2. Click the Export button to export the data on the page to the registered email address (See How to view and export all current abnormal stock)
  3. Use the Reset to reset any filters that have been applied
  4. Click on the small domain icon to switch to that domain (Only applicable wherever a domain name is specified). Clicking on the icon will pop a confirmation box, before switching to that domain (This icon is visible to administrators and super users only)
  5. View the Material that has reached zero stock level
  6. View the name of the Entity at which zero stock has occurred
  7. View the Stock on hand (for zero stock this will always be 0)
  8. View the Minimum stock that should be maintained at that facility to meet typical consumption rates
  9. View the Maximum stock that should ideally be maintained at that facility
  10. View the Duration of days/months the stock out situation has been going on
  11. View the date and time Since the start of the event
  12. View the number of records of zero stock currently in the system
  13. Click on any given item/row to view the event history for that item
  14. A table opens up with details of the recent event history of the item
  15. View the name of the Material
  16. View the name of the Entity where there has been an abnormal stock event
  17. View the start date from which the abnormal stock incident has begun
  18. View the date Until which the event has lasted
  19. View the Duration of the event
  20. Click on the X button to collapse the table
  21. Click on Entity tags to filter zero stock events by entity tag (See How to filter abnormal stock using entity tags filter)
  22. Click on Material tags to filter zero stock events by material tag (See How to filter abnormal stock using material tags filter)
