TEXT GUIDE


Navigate to the Materials page

  1. Click on the Setup on the main menu
  2. Click on Materials in the drop-down menu
  3. View all the materials within the domain


























Edit material

1. Select a material to edit in one of two ways:

1. Click on the material name



2. The material details page opens up, click on the Edit button



3. View existing details of the material and make the required changes



Alternatively,

1. Click on the edit icon



2. View existing details of the material and make the required changes



2. Edit any of the following fields of material information:

1. Name: edit the name of the material if required

2. Short name: edit the short name of the material if required

3. Custom-ID: edit the custom ID of the material if needed

4. Description: edit the description of the material

5. Additional information: edit additional information that would be useful to users

6. Show on mobile phone box: Check this box to enable mobile users to view the information

7. Tags: select and add tags to apply to the material, tags make it easier to search for and categorize materials

8. Batch management: check the box to indicate that the material is managed as a batch

10. Is binary valued: check the box if the material count is binary in nature, that is, exists or does not exist

11. Seasonal: check the box If the material is seasonal



3. Edit pricing information for the material if required

1. Edit the manufacturer-specified retail price (MSRP)

2. Edit the retailer's price

3. Edit currency by selecting from the drop-down list




3. Edit temperature for the material if required

1. Check the box if the material is temperature sensitive 



2. Edit the minimum and maximum temperature range within which the material must be stored in degrees Celcius




4. Update the record

1. Click on Update to update changes that have been made to the  material details or on Cancel if you do not want to update the record



2. A pop-up message will confirm that the material has been created successfully
