Setting entity permissions: Overview

Once an entity has been created and relationships have been set up, permissions can be provided to control the extent of visibility and control that related entities have between each other. The following permissions can be provided for an entity:

  • None: not have any permission on any of its vendors and customers
  • View inventory: view the inventory of all its vendors and all its customers
  • Manage inventory: manage the inventory of all its vendors and all its customers, by creating transactions & orders on their behalf

Allowing these permissions provide visibility of stock throughout the supply chain for facility managers.
