Order fulfilment: Overview


A customer, upon receiving ordered materials, will count and record the actual stock received. This value could be same or different to the shipped quantity mentioned by the vendor.   


Once an order is fulfilled, the inventory at the customer store increases accordingly.


TEXT GUIDE 


Navigate to the View Orders page

  1. Click on the 'Logistimo' logo to open the application
  2. Log in with the username and password


  3. Click on Orders
  4. Click on View Orders


Fulfil order

  1. Select Purchases tab to view purchase orders
  2. Select an order

    a. Click on the Enter order number field and enter the order number (if known) OR

    b. Click on the Shipped status tab and select an order to be fulfilled





  3. View details of the order
    a. Status: status of the order - Pending, Confirmed, Shipped, Fulfilled, Backordered, Cancelled
    b. Paid: amount paid for the order
    c. Created: date of order creation
    d. Updated: date the order was last updated
    e. Customer: the entity that will receive the material
    f. Vendor: the entity that will dispatch the order
  4. View the items in the order along with Ordered, Shipped and Recommended quantities
  5. Click on the Change button to change the Status of the order 
  6. Select Fulfil from the available options

  7. Review the Received field for each material. The field will be pre-populated with the shipped quantity. If this number is the same as quantity actually received, proceed to step 10
  8. Click on Edit button



  9. Enter the actual quantity received in the Received field
  10. Click on Date of actual receipt and select the date when the stock was actually received. Use '+' or '-' symbol to navigate to next or previous date, month and year
  11. Add comments on the order, if any
  12. Click on the Fulfil button to submit the transaction or the Cancel button to quit


  13. Click on the Yes to confirm the transaction or No to go back to the previous page
  14. View order status on the orders page. It would have changed to fulfilled
